Our Sales Managers are responsible for the sale of single family homes in designated communities. They coordinate all aspects of the home buying process to provide an outstanding customer experience while ensuring timely settlements to achieve monthly and annual goals. Other duties may include, performing general on-site administrative functions and directing Sales Assistants activities. Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Sales Marketing or equivalent of three years of experience in home sales or a combination of education and equivalent work experience is preferred. Dan Ryan Builders, nationally (NAHB) recognized as a top 100 new home builder in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of General Sales Manager for our Washington division. This position will be based in Frederick, MD with GSM responsibility for the Washington Division.
Responsibilities will include the recruitment and management of on-site sales staff (Sales Managers and Assistants), sales training, selling and settling homes in conjunction with annual goals and budget forecasts, effectively administering the sales process while achieving high marks for customer satisfaction and more. Previous experience with managing a sales team for a builder is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing or equivalent of three years of experience in new home sales management; or combination of education and equivalent work experience will be considered.
